Boss BR-900CD - 8-Track Mobile Recorder
The Boss BR900CD is an all-inclusive 8-Track digital recorder with a built in CD burner and effects that is easily transportable. The BR-900CD features professional effects, realistic drum-pattern generator, vocal-correction, digital output and Mastering Tool Kit. Being about the size of a standard laptop, the BR-900CD is very mobile. It can also be run from either AC power or from batteries which makes it a very mobile unit. With the Boss BR-900CD you can write, record, edit, mix, master and burn your track onto a blank CD.
The BR-900CD allows you to burn any tracks on the spot with the built in CD-RW Drive. The Boss BR-900CD features Pitch Correction and a front-panel fader count of eight. With the BR-900CD you can record up to 500 minutes in one take by using a 1GB CompactFlash.
The Boss BR-900CD comes complete with Boss' top of the line GT-Pro with 46 types of COSM guitar-amp models built into the unit. The means the avid guitarist can just plug in and search around for that perfect sound without the need of an amplifier, pedals etc. The BR-900CD comes complete with a virtual drummer with the added feature of downloadable software for creating rhythm patterns and arrangements.
The BR-900CD is equipped with a USB connection port to allow you to import and export audio files and song data as required. This means you can easily back up any files you have created on the BR-900CD onto your laptop. Importing WAV files from your computer is also easily done by dragging and dropping the required files.

Programmers Unveil Cannes Hack Day Creations #MIDEM (Hypebot)

up overnight at Midem building apps and hacks, as part of the Music Hack Day
event. This morning, SoundCloud’s Dave Haynes and Six Two Productions’ Martyn
Davies who have been overseeing it, took to the stage to show off a couple of
examples to give a flavor of what’s been created. First, Haynes talked about
Music Hack Day. “Developers are crucial to the future of music,” he said.
