Pencil Condenser Microphone?
Most people use these for recording guitar.. etc as far as I can see. Now i'm guessing that you can also use these for vocals? Or is it not worth it for vocals? As well as vocals and say acoustic?
Thanks!
You're talking about a small diaphragm condenser microphone, usually used on instruments and guitar but will also work on vocals if needed.
Large diaphragm condensers are usually prefers, but a small one will work just fine...just experiment with placement. (I don't recommend ribbon mics for vocals unless you are looking for a duller sound.)
I would try the website below for other recording questions you might have.
