Comcast and Surround sound help?
I have a Comcast HD box, a Vizio 42", Panasonic surround sound system, 2 viable HDMI Cables and 2 Optic cables. As it is, I have the comcast cable box hooked up to the TV Via HDMI(input1), the surround sound hooked up to the TV Via HDMI (input 2), The cable box hooked up to the surround sound via optic cable (digital in 2) and the TV hooked up to the surround sound via optic cable (digital in 1)... Basically I have no idea what I am doing and have tried what I could without breaking it.
Aditional information: I have had no problem making the video go through my PS3 and the sound go through my Surround sound when playing games but this seems like Mandarin to me.
