For Sounding Playability The Ibanez Talman TCY10E Has You Covered
The Ibanez Talman model TCY10E has some the the features higher end guitars possess. At first look it is a double cutaway hollow body, that doubles as an electric. Constructed with the musician in mind who yearns for electric like playability, and the sweet sound of acoustic guitars. Featuring a on board tuner, piezo pickups and two band equalizer all as standard equipment.
Unplugged this guitar is natural warm sounding instrument. Though it is a little soft due in part to it having a body made from mahogany and top made from spruce. Adding to the sound is the mahogany made neck and a rose wood bridge and rose wood fret board.
Featuring advantage bridge pins, die cast tuners, and an ivorex saddle and nut. There is no need to worry about the strings wandering. As and entry level guitar the string action can seem a little high. This is easily lowered by shaving the saddle a little, to get the perfect action everyone craves.
Rounding it out is the electronics package. This consists of an Ibanez AEQ200T preamp and 2 band equalizer. The piezo pickup lacks the raw power and depth of a humbucker, but makes up for it with a soft clear tone when plugged in. Unplugged its sound is typical of a smaller hollow body.
Because the body is a double cutaway it is playable from the sound hole to the nut. The strings have a tight but comfortable feeling. They also come from the factory with a glossy finish that makes you stand out even in dim lighting.
All things being equal this guitar has some great features for an entry level instrument. It is well suited for electric or acoustic use as well as everything in between. The electronics package round it out nicely. Whatever playing style is used, the Ibanez Talman TCY10E is a good start.

In a dual opamp, can I leave one of them disconnected?
I want to use an LM833 (dual opamp) in an Instrument preamp, but I only need to use one of the opamps. Is it safe to leave the other one disconnected, or is there a single opamp out there with performance similar to the LM833?
Anyone at all?
you should ground unused inputs.
you might be able to get away with letting them float, but they act as little antennae.
since you do not intend to use the amp there is no negative feedback. an amplifier with no negative feedback is basically a comparator, the output will either be +Vcc or -Vee. (Recall Op-Amps in general have very large open-loop gain)
If the voltage at the INVERTING input > NON-INVERTING input --> OUTPUT = +Vcc
If the voltage at the NON-INVERTING input > INVERTING input --> OUTPUT = -Vee
so if the inputs are unused, the voltage sensed on the inputs can change, causing the output to change, causing noise problems on the op-amp you ARE using.
while tying the terminals together causes them to be at the same potential, the "ground" at the op-amp input is virtual, so again you have no way of knowing what that value is with respect to ground, and you still have an antenna and consequently the switching problem still exists.
Again, tie unused inputs to ground.
