Can I get in trouble for letting an unpermitted driver use my motorcycle?
I have a friend who is learning to ride a motorcycle, and wants to use mine. S/he is unpermitted, but knows how to ride somewhat. My bike is fully insured, and I am liscenced. If s/he does get into an accident, will my insurance cover it? Will I get in trouble for letting my friend use my bike? We are in California.
I would advise against this.

Target truck sinks in pond (Minneapolis Star Tribune)
A Target semi truck became part submarine, after leaving I-94, south of
Monticello, crossing oncoming traffic and crashing into an ice covered pond
and sinking. The driver was able to escape the sinking truck with minor

accident. Two large two trucks were used to tow the truck and trailer out of
the pond. Traffic on westbound I-94 was backed up for hours due to the
