Whats the difference of a processor and composer?

They are Behringer brand for DJ...

They are very similar products as they are both compressors. Here is your main difference:

1. The Behringer MDX2600 (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-audio/behringer-mdx2600-composer-pro-xl-compressor) is a two channel compressor. However, you also get some additional features like De-Esser (which can be great for vocalists), tube simulation, and independent knobs for controlling the attack and release of each compressor.

2. The Behringer MDX4600 (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-audio/behringer-multicom-pro-xl-mdx4600-processor) is a stripped down version of this same compressor by not giving you independent control over the attack and release. You also miss out on getting the De-Esser and tube simulation with this model, but you get 4 compressors in one unit.

To sum it up, you need to decide what works best for your needs and what is important to you. If you need four compressors go with the MDX4600, but if you only need two compressors and like the flexibility of the MDX2600 then go with that model.
